Why did he not just wait and speak!

Today I am just so fustrated! I am upset on so many levels. I can not understand why this man would come out now and start as he states it "Defending the Black Church". If he was any type of friend to Barrack would he not have waited? We had a real chance for a black President. This is all it takes for other races to be confused and sterotype blacks in one group. I am sure Obama is red hot. This helps Hillary, it helps McCain, most of all it helps Rev. Wright! Now don't get me wrong. He does have a right to defend himself. He is right on several things he has said. He has been unfairly attacked. My point is there is a time and place to go on attack. This was not the time. What a selfish act!

Promotion of self is an everyday occurrence in America. This is a me oriented society and people act on their selfish motives all the time. Let's face it, Wright is like most African American preachers-they say things in our segregated services that they would not say in mixed company. That is the African American way to deal with life in White America. Author Shelby Steele does a great job of breaking that one down. Way too much press has been given to this issue. The real issue is who is qualified and really able to lead and restore the US to its former glory. Hillary is a liar and at this point is desperate to paint Obama in a poor light by any means possibel. We all have a friend or relative who says things we do not agree with. Do we kick them to the curb? NO! Obama played the political game by dismissing Wright, who wasn't even a prominent figure in his campaign. Hillary knows she has not kicked her racist uncle or college friend or whomever to the curb for some off color remarks. We and Obama have just not discovered who that person is. Everyone has a person of this nature in their company at some point, life is just like that.
